Sweet...
Two and a half years ago I started a quest to get myself my favorite motorcycle by trading up from a red paperclip.
The bike I really wanted was a late seventy's BMW preferably a R90S.
I have reached my goal and I have been driving around our Island on my brand new 1982 BMW R100.

Hello Theo! Hello Diane!!
It's just me, Elizabeth (from San Onofre Beach, CA) checking into your site to see what you two have been up too. Congratulations Theo on your newest toy!! It's lovely! Safe travels!! :)
I've been thinking of you guys and I'm hoping that all is well.
I was in Florida in December, 2008, for the holidays but my stay wasn't as long as I had hoped. I promise though that within the next visit or so home, I'll be making my way towards your neighborhood. :) I'll be in touch well before just to make sure you'll be home. :)
Stay well...
Much love,
"E"
PS: I'm sure Mike would be sending his love and regards to you right now too so, I'll say it for him! :) xoxoxoxoxo!
Hi Theo,
I don't know you but I met your brother Cor in Montrose, Colorado yesterday at the hotel we were both staying at (4-25-10) on his 3 month motorcycle tour and he was telling me about your quest to get a bike starting with a red paper clip and I just had to read your blog. Graet story and nice bike.
Rick
