Conch Cruiser show

Another beautiful Sunday in Key West. We had a cool breeze, music by our own Michael MC Cloud, and some fine shining automobiles.
The Schooner wharf bar organized its annual conch cruiser festival this Sunday, all part of our Conch Republic independence week celebrations.

Amsterjaming...

Key West is known for taking care of each other when things are getting tough.
A few weeks ago there was a fundraiser at the Blue Heaven for a local musician named Lou 'Blue Lou' Feinberg that needed help with his medical bills.
A lot of local treasures donated by local artist and businesses where available through a silent auction and a live auction was to be held for 4 acoustic guitars and one Heineken promotional electric guitar all signed by the local musicians playing their tunes on the fundraising event.
Our friend Joe Forte was the generous happy winning bidder on the Heineken guitar, which he bought for his grandson.
I convinced Joe to trade me his guitar for a similar Heineken guitar I had bought on eBay, and the deal is done.
This piece of Key West history electric Heineken "Amsterjam" guitar is now on display at the Coffee Plantation.

Renegade Clay Presents

Simone and Senor Lobo, both big fans of the Coffee Plantation invited us to host this fabulous fund raising event the "Empty Bowl Luncheon".
There where beautiful bowls, handmade by local artists, which we filled with one of our fine gourmet soup.

Dream team

Look at this team...
The Coffee Plantation Boccie team had another great night at boccie Wednesday night.
By waking up the Esquire Lounge team in the first round by defeating the team with a 16 to 0 score, we got beat up very badly in the second and 3Th game.
We still think we are the best team though...

Great Party

For our three year anniversary party we had a great turn out, look at all those people having a great time.
We must have had half the island coming by to celebrate this milestone.
We are even thinking about a monthly party.
A party every first Sunday of the month we are going to celebrate a local artist with a exhibit.
